The hotel's antique furniture and decor added historical charm.
I was disappointed by the noise levels in the room. It reminded me of I could hear everything happening in the corridor and outside my door. The lack of soundproofing made it difficult to relax, especially during the early mornings. I found the bathroom amenities limited, as there were hardly any spots for toiletries.

Neat property with very amiable and well organised staff. A great selection of food at breakfast like coffee, fresh bread, pastries, fruit, and meats. Local dishes, super central location on local events that are happening close by.
Very unfriendly staff!

the location.
The only restriction tht I had is related to the absence of plastic or glass protection arround the bo. Because of this the floor were completly yet after my shower.

The rooms are as soundproof as a paper bag, I could hear the cleaning staff gossiping like they were right beside me. The breakfast menu shocked me with coffee fees more suited for a fancy cafe! I almost considered leaving a good review but just couldn't when I expected a welcome gift that never came.

we were put in a nonsmoking room that was smoked in previously. the front desk admitted that they knew this and said nothing to us until we complained. We should never have been placed in that room to begin with

Benevolence and efficiency of the staff, cleaniness of the room and the hotel in general, perfect location. Good value for money especially if there is a special offer. An advice to European non-Italian travellers: Italian electric sockets do not allow pluggin-in a standard (two-prongs) European plug. The adaptor is needed. Hence, Either bring the one of your own or ask at the hotel's front desk (as I did, and they immediately found the thing).
Moscitoes. But this problem can be resolved with the help of the hotel stuff (they provide a nice electric device which produces moscito-killing fume).

Aye, the location was mad dope, right near the castle. Room was super clean and chill. The breakfast spread had all sorts of goodies. The staff was nice too, helped me out with my bags after checkout. Just wish the breakfast time wasn't so chaotic, like c'mon fam, keep it together!

It is undoubtedly a lovely old fashioned and comfortable option when in Ferrara. Everything is great, I thoroughly enjoyed well-maintained room and fantastic location. The breakfast includes good food, such as coffee and bread. The hotel is placed in the heart of the city and has friendly staff at the reception desk. There is bar Il Bocconcino, set 900 feet walk away.
